Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup / 20 g / 0.7 oz fresh ginger root 
  • 1/4 cup / 12 g / 0.4 oz fresh turmeric root 
  • OR
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 lemon
  • 1-2 oranges (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional) 
  • pinch of black pepper (optional)

Instructions
Juicer Method

  • Roughly peel the lemons and oranges. The white pith is very healthy and it’s fine to leave some on.
  • Chop the ginger and turmeric into small chunks.
  • Put the fruit, ginger, and turmeric chunks or turmeric powder in your machine and juice.

Blender Method

  • Roughly peel the lemons and oranges. The white pith is very healthy and it’s fine to leave some on.

  • Place the fruit, ginger, and turmeric chunks or turmeric powder in the blender.
  • Pulse until well blended. If necessary, add a little water to help blending.
  • Strain tough a fine strainer, cheesecloth or nut milk bag and squeeze all liquid out.
