Once you’ve gathered your materials to make this DIY Egyptian Magic cream, simply follow the instructions below.
Begin by reserving 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil from the amount called for in the recipe. Then, measure out the rest of the olive oil and the beeswax and combine the ingredients together in a double boiler.
Melt the beeswax and olive oil you’re using to make the DIY Egyptian Magic Cream over medium heat until melted.
Once the beeswax is melted, remove the melted ingredients from heat and allow to cool.
Stir the ingredients frequently until it turns into an off white cream. It is extremely important to allow the mixture to cool prior to adding the rest of the ingredients. Otherwise, the heat can potentially destroy the enzymes in the honey. In addition, it can also lead to your product separating.
While the oil and beeswax for the DIY Egyptian Magic Cream are cooling, whisk the honey, pollen, propolis, and the reserved olive oil together in a small bowl. You’ll want to whisk the ingredients really well in order to incorporate the olive oil into the honey. Therefore, I recommend using an electric mixer, if possible.
